Audio Recording & Transcription

CueNotes records audio through your device for AI-powered meeting note-taking. Audio is processed in real-time to generate transcriptions — no raw audio is permanently stored. When used in meetings, the microphone may capture voices of other participants. Users are responsible for informing participants and obtaining required consents.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process personal data under Contract Performance (providing the service), Legitimate Interests (improving services, security), and Consent (marketing communications).

Categories of Personal Data

Account information (name, email), voice recordings (temporary, not stored), transcripts, meeting data (titles, participants, action items), usage data, technical data (IP, browser), and payment data (processed by Stripe).

Data Recipients

Perplexity AI (transcription), cloud hosting provider, Stripe (payments), and email service. We do not sell personal data.

Data Retention

Audio: not stored. Transcriptions: retained while account active, max 20 meetings. Account data: removed within 30 days of deletion. Security logs: up to 90 days.
